St. Baldrick's 2012

It's that time of year again when the Wolfpack gets together to shave our heads for children's cancer research through the St. Baldrick's foundation.

This is my 4th year shaving my head in solidarity with kids fighting cancer w/ , please donate on my head!

A little about St. Baldrick's if you don't know: St. Baldrick's funds more in grants for childhood cancer research than any other organization except the U.S. government. Last year, the Foundation has funded nearly $22 million in new grants – all because over 45,000 people shaved their heads! You can count on this donation being used responsibly. To see all the research being funded – by disease type, location and more – visit www.StBaldricks.org and click on "Where the Money Goes," then "View Grants."

Our wolfpack started as one: Rob, shaved his head for the first time back in 2008. We grew to 4 in 2009, adding Adam, Jeff and Stace (yes Stace shaved her head!). Stayed as a four-man wolfpack in 2010 and 2011, replacing Stace with Jim, then replacing Jim last year with Rick. This year we are a five man wolfpack having added Mike to the mix (a cancer survivor! thanks Mike!), and are looking to add to our growing numbers, just ask Rob how to join, it's that easy!

Over the past four years our wolfpack has raised over $16,000 for this wonderful foundation and are looking to add even bigger and better numbers to this years donation.

I'm shaving my head for children's cancer research

Dear family and friends,

The three of us (Stace Millburg, Adam Sonnett and Rob Patterson) are
coming together as one team, "Beauty and 2 Beasts", to help the St.
Baldrick's Foundation raise money for childhood cancer research. We
are shaving our heads, on Sunday, March 15th (time TBA) at the
Claddaugh Irish Pub at the Newport Levee. We are doing this in
solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair
during treatment.

About the Beauty and the 2 Beasts...
Last year Rob participated in this event for the first time and
inspired Adam to join him for this years event. In preparation, Adam
decided to start growing his hair in July for the March 15th event.
Stace didn't think twice when joining our team, and claimed that
shaving her head would be nothing compared to cancer. Rob and Adam
applaud her selflessness and hope that you do too!

So the question we are asking you today is:
How much would you give to see us shave our heads for childhood cancer research?

Our team goal is to raise $8,000. Every donation helps, even $1!!!

Because many of you may know more than one of our team members, we are
asking everyone (even if you only know one of us) that chooses to
donate, to do so to the team instead of an individual.

To see our team pages and to donate please visit:

We also are extending an invitation any and all of you to join our
team and shave your head for this great cause. If you want to join our
team, please contact any of us for more information.

Thank you in advance for your support!
